Residents of Lorain County and the surrounding community are invited to submit photos of their loved ones who passed away within the past five years to be used in an art display, according to a news release.
The photos will be used to create an art display called Lorain County Clothesline: Witness V, the release said.
This clothesline-style memorial display will feature submitted photos on fabric banners.
Those who submit photos will be able to keep the photo banners following the event, according to the release.
Those who wish to participate may submit a photo at www.lorainccc.edu/clothesline.
Those with physical photographs to scan may bring them in person for scanning from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 25 and June 1, in the PC Campana building on the Lorain County Community College campus, 1005 N. Abbe Road in Elyria.
Photos will be returned, the release said.
All photos must be received by June 14.
Lorain County Clothesline: Witness V will be displayed from noon to 5 p.m., Sept. 6-8, at LCCC.
The display is presented by the RedHand artist collaborative and Lorain County Community College, according to the release.
Space is limited. A total of 150 photos will be accepted.
Each photo will be displayed for one day of the event, the release said.
Photos must be head and shoulders only, and be high quality images.
